SEBRING - Officials at Sun ‘n Lake of Sebring have decided to establish an official brand and Web site tailored solely to the community.
“Our new look will better differentiate the community as a whole,” said Sun ‘n Lake General Manager Al Grieshaber Jr. in a press release. “Sun ‘n Lake is enjoyable, affordable and distinctive from its competitors. We hope our 7,500 residents will identify with our new logo and look forward to sharing our camaraderie with others using these new communication tools.”
To help articulate its character, Sun ‘n Lake hired Kidd Group, a marketing firm headquartered in Tallahassee, to develop a new brand and Web site.
The resulting logo’s vibrant orange golf ball represents the natural lifestyle enjoyed within the community, mimicking a Florida orange. The mark also represents a sun descending into a lake, and with the new tagline “Come for the Sun. Stay for the Play.”
Along with its new brand, the community launched a user-friendly Web site, www.Sunnlake.com. It features photo galleries, community news, along with area attractions and resident information on schools, shopping and healthcare. Visitors can also access current weather information and a detailed area map.
Social media users can find a link to Sun ‘n Lake’s micro-blog on Twitter.com (@LiveSunnLake).
Sun ‘n Lake has even more to look forward to this winter. Its new, state-of-the-art golf clubhouse will open in December. The facility will include a banquet room along with a new pro shop and restaurant.
Golf enthusiasts will enjoy a full driving range, new practice putting green, chipping green and lessons from certified professional golf instructors.
A new recreation complex featuring a lagoon pool will open in June 2010.
